After successfully raising all the funds needed to attend the Penland Spring 2020 Ceramics concentration with Jenny Mendes,

it became clear that COVID-19 had other plans for us this year.

Classes were canceled after we were there for about a week and a half.

Below are some pictures from the Paper Cuts held in Dunbar Gardens in 2015,

and in 2016.

I was there promoting the Little Rocked Zine, a “smut” zine that celebrated local erotic writing, photography, and visual art.

So grateful for another chance to attend a summer session at Penland. It was a transformative, energizing experience. This year I was with Paul S. Briggs (http://www.paulsbriggs.com/) for his workshop on forming vessels and sculptures through pinching clay. Pinch forming involves no addition or subtraction of clay. It is a fascinating method I’ll continue to explore.

The Cattywampus Co-Op show in Little Rock was a success!
